Financial hardship
The Royal Dental Hospital will support access to dental treatment with payment plans for patients experiencing financial hardship. Patients may apply for a payment plan and at times a payment exemption following a written application, supporting documentation and assessment by a qualified staff member.
The assessment of payment ability will consider the person’s overall capacity to pay, other health service costs the person may have, and whether the person receives all available financial assistance (for example, Centrelink statements, rent assistance, carer’s allowance).
